It may seem easier to contact random strangers, but these strangers could also have something to hide. Therefore, anyone who regularly participates in online message boards and online chat rooms needs to consider the dangers of dealing with strangers.

While they are both convenient ways for online users to meet new friends, they are two different ways that people can be hurt. Anyone who regularly participates in online chat rooms should make sure that their personal information is protected at all times.
